BI-LO Cashiers
Requirements
- Scan the UPC (Universal Product Codes) codes of a customer’s order and key enter those products that do not scan.
- Collect correct payment for order.
- Cash checks according to company policy.
- Redeem coupons/food stamps according to company policy.
- Responsible for cash handling and security of that check-stand.
- Bag customer’s purchase properly.
- Perform your job duties in a conscientious and safe manner.
- When not busy stand at front of register to identify customers who need to be checked out.
- If doing another task and see a customer is ready to check out, immediately stop what you are doing and invite the next customer in line to your line.
- Ask the customer immediately if he/she found everything.
- Ask the customer for his/her Bonuscard.
- When you notice the Front-End has three people in line, call a manager.
- Use proper intercom etiquette.
- Bag groceries properly and ask the customer if he/she wants carry out service.
BI-LO Grocery Managers
Requirements
- Assist management team in meeting sales, stock loss, and labor objectives.
- Train and direct the work activities of all grocery stock clerks. Assist salaried managers in performance appraisals, significant incident reports, and recommendation of merit increases (Store Manager has final approval).
- Project weekly sales, schedule according to labor standards.
- Implement corporate Grocery merchandising program and plan-o-grams.
- Control inventory to recommended stock levels, to maximize sales and to minimize stock loss.
- Plan and coordinate Grocery displays.
- Keep stockroom clean and orderly, VIP (Vision Improvement Process) compliance—including minus off file, pick lists and ordering records.
- Follow proper rotation program.
- Promptly follow PRC (Product Return Center) guidelines, markdown, and recall procedures.
- Monitor all Grocery DSD vendors to ensure proper adherence to BI-LO VIP standards.
- Supervise and assist in unloading grocery deliveries.
- Perform all job duties in a conscientious manner—follow all safety guidelines.
BI-LO Stock Clerks
Requirements
- Make sure shelves are stocked in accord with VIP (Vision Improvement Process) -on tag, shelves clean, proper rotation.
- Build displays as directed.
- Keep stockroom clean and orderly, in accordance with VIP compliance.
- Promptly follow PRC (Product Return Center) guidelines on damaged or broken merchandise.
- Unload truck deliveries.
- Perform all job duties in a conscientious manner—follow all safety guidelines.
- Sanitation of shelves and tag moldings.
- Ensure items in stock and aligned with shelf tags.
- Condition properly per VIP standards.
- Meet or exceed productivity standards.
